SNPhA Spoken Word: Voices for Equity A Creative Showcase is a creative competition designed to uplift the voices, stories, and lived experiences of student pharmacists through artistic expression. This competition invites members to share original spoken word, poetry, rap, singing, or other performance pieces that reflect their perspectives on health equity, identity, and serving underserved communities.
Submissions are highly encouraged to relate tohealth equity, SNPhA’s mission of “Serving the Underserved,” social determinants of health, or cultural resilience. While pieces do not need to be limited to these topics, they should clearly connect to them.
To be considered, students must submit a the follow items:
Title of Piece
Summary of Piece (200 words or less) Clearly summarize your topic, purpose, and key message
Bio (100 words or less)
Include school, year, SNPhA involvement, and relevant experience
SNPhA is an educational service association of pharmacy students who are concerned about the profession of pharmacy, healthcare issues, and the poor minority representation in these areas. The purpose of SNPhA is to plan, organize, coordinate, and execute programs geared toward the improvement of the health, educational, and social environment of minority communities.
