DR. HENRY LEWIS III LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE

Step into leadership with the Dr. Henry Lewis III Leadership Development Institute!

Cohort I: January 2025 - August 2025

The Dr. Henry Lewis III Leadership Development Institute is now accepting applications for its inaugural cohort! Designed exclusively for pharmacist members of the National Pharmaceutical Association, this virtual program will empower professionals with the skills, tools, and confidence to display leadership capabilities in various areas throughout the profession.

The Institute focuses on developing essential leadership skills tailored to the unique challenges of pharmacy. Participants will engage in exercises that emphasize leadership development, clinical advocacy, and effective communication to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Participants will also learn about financial management, ethical leadership, and healthcare policy to navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.

The institute prepares pharmacists to lead teams and engage with other healthcare providers effectively via workshops, case studies, and mentorship opportunities that will provide practical experience and support networking within the industry.

Participants will conclude the institute with a capstone presentation poster showcased at the 2025 NPhA Annual Convention!
