SNPhA x Walmart Prescription for Service Competition

Prescription for Service, sponsored by Walmart Stores, Inc., was established in 2012 as a national scholarship competition to grant SNPhA students the funds needed to make an impact on underserved communities. Walmart’s mission is to help patients save money so that they can live better, healthier lives. The Prescription for Service Competition allows SNPhA members to propose, implement, and execute special projects to impact their surrounding underserved communities.

The competition promotes the value of community outreach, teamwork, and leadership, all while advancing the profession of pharmacy. Five finalists will receive a $2,500 grant to implement their project! The final round of the Prescription for Service Competition will take place at the 2025 SNPhA National Conference, where finalists will have the opportunity to report their project's impact within their community to a group of Walmart judges.

Three lucky winners will then be chosen to receive one of the following monetary prizes that can be shared amongst team members:

1st Place - $10,000

2nd Place - $5,000

3rd Place - $2,500

Application Opens: December 1, 2024
Application Closes: January 14, 2025 at 11:59 pm Local Time
