Title: Next-Gen PrEP/PEP: Clinical Updates & Youth-Friendly Approaches

Description: This webinar will provide an overview of current CDC and USPHS recommendations for both oral and long-acting injectable PrEP and PEP.

The session will emphasize the pharmacist’s role in HIV prevention and explore practical strategies to engage with the youth (ages 13 to 24) in meaningful and age-appropriate conversations about HIV prevention and care.

Participants will review key clinical considerations for tailoring PrEP and PEP regimens to adolescent and young adult populations, including consent, dosing, and counseling strategies.

Through interactive discussion attendees will learn how to build rapport, address barriers, and create accessible prevention pathways that empower youth to make informed health decisions.
