The State of the Black Student Pharmacist: An Open Forum

Promoting equity and diversity in health care must include increasing the population of minority health care professionals. In 2019, non-Hispanic Black individuals made up 13.4 percent of the U.S. population, but only 4.9 percent of licensed pharmacists. NPhA, alongside SNPhA and Doses of Melanin, Inc., is committed to exploring and pursuing strategies for increasing this number.

Join us on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm EDT for an open discussion about the state of the Black student pharmacist as we ask Black student pharmacists to share their thoughts on how professional pharmacy organizations can support them. RSVP today!

Hosted by:

Dose of Melanin, Inc.
