Join us for the second webinar in a three-part series designed to provide pharmacy professionals with practical tools for addressing COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy.

Christina Madison, PharmD, FCCP, AAHIVP

Dr. Christina Madison is the Founder and CEO of The Public Health Pharmacist, PLLC, a public health consulting firm. She is a clinical pharmacist specializing in public health with a focus on infectious communicable diseases. As a past President of the Nevada Public Health Association, she has been asked to share her clinical public health and infectious disease expertise with Local, State, and International Media outlets and NGOs. Dr. Madison has been featured in over 100+ on-air TV appearances since January 2020 related to the pandemic and public health. She has an intimate knowledge of the impact public health messaging, policy, and legislation can have on communities. Advocating for public health and the profession of pharmacy to improve the health and wellness of vulnerable populations and the underserved is her passion and mission. Learning Objectives:

    • Compare and contrast vaccine advocacy campaigns and outreach initiatives to overcome vaccine hesitancy.
    • Discuss the utilization of incentives and enablers to increase vaccination rates.
    • Review updates and changes to the COVID-19 age (including adolescents).

    Statement of Accreditation: ACPE Program

    This program has been approved for 1.0 contact hours (0.1 CEU). The National Pharmaceutical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE). To claim CPE credit participants must attend the entire session and complete the program evaluation within 15 days of the program (including submitting their NABP e-Profile ID and birth day). No partial credit will be given. CPE credit will be awarded after the stated deadline for the program evaluation.
