American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA), American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP), and National Alliance of State Pharmacy Association (NASPA) are excited to be hosting a joint policy conference and fly-in! By working together, we will elevate the voice of pharmacists, one of the most trusted professions, to policymakers to advance our shared goals of better patient care.
Following the dedicated work of pharmacists during the COVID-19 pandemic, pharmacists have unique opportunity to capitalized on their well-deserved goodwill to advance long-standing priorities for patients, their families and pharmacists. For the last three years, the fly-in has been extremely successful! During the 2024 Fly-In, pharmacists met with 67 Congressional offices, including direct conversations with Senators Susan Collins, John Cornyn and Laphonza Butler. With four pharmacist associations partnering on this year's event, we expect to meet with more offices than ever before!
This two-day event provides attending pharmacists with an in-depth training on the policy issues that they will discuss with Congressional offices the following days.
Important Notes:
Securing meetings with Members of Congress and their staff is a complicated process and subject to change. In order to participate, please plan to be available ALL DAY on Tuesday, April 1st. Additionally, to ensure we schedule meetings with your Members of Congress, please use your personal address when registering.
Additionally, Members of Congress are rarely policy experts, especially as it relates to long-term care issues. While we hope to arrange as many Member-level meetings as possible, most meetings will be with Congressional staff. However, these meetings are often the most productive as staff manage our policy issues day-to-day.

Reservations for the event can be made by individual attendees directly with the Hotel Heron online here. The group rate is $239 per night, plus tax. Reservations can be made for the nights of Monday, March 31st and Tuesday, April 1st. The deadline to receive ASCP’s group rate is Monday, March 17, 2025. Staying at ASCP’s headquarter hotel is a huge asset to ASCP and helps us with attrition and achieving financial goals.
