She is a clinical pharmacist specializing in public health with a focus on infectious communicable diseases. As a past President of the Nevada Public Health Association, she has been asked to share her clinical public health and infectious disease expertise with Local, State, and International Media outlets and NGOs. Dr. Madison has been featured in over 100+ on-air TV appearances since January 2020 related to the pandemic and public health. She has an intimate knowledge of the impact public health messaging, policy, and legislation can have on communities. - Review the health disparities, inequities, and medical conditions that put people at risk for severe complications associated with infection with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19
- Compare and contrast the COVID-19 vaccines that have Emergency Use Authorization in the United States
- Discuss the reasons why some groups may be hesitant to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and how you can overcome these misconceptions

Statement of Accreditation: ACPE Program
This program has been approved for 0.75 contact hours (0.075 CEU). The National Pharmaceutical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE). To claim CPE credit participants must attend the entire session and complete the program evaluation within 15 days of the program (including submitting their NABP e-Profile ID and birth day). No partial credit will be given. CPE credit will be awarded after the stated deadline for the program evaluation.
